Dan Theobald DVM

Dr. Theobald started working at Animal Clinic South in October of 2013, and has been the owner since January 2016.

He grew up on a hog farm in Louisville, Illinois and has always had a love for animals.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from McKendree University, then attended the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2001.  He has practiced emergency, large, and small animal medicine throughout his career.  Dr. Theobald is also very busy with his family.  He and his wife have two very active boys who are involved in Boy Scouts, swimming, soccer, baseball and basketball.  He also serves on the Hickey College Veterinary Technology advisory board.

Kerry Stonis DVM

Dr. Kerry Stonis has been an associate veterinarian at Animal Clinic South since October 2013.

Dr. Stonis grew up in the Chicago suburbs with German Shorthair Pointers and  mixed breed dogs, cats, parakeets and rabbits. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at the age of three!  She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 1996.

Prior to working at ACS, her experience included small animal medicine, surgery, dentistry and animal shelter care.  Her professional interests include client education, preventive care, weight management, preventive dentistry, geriatric care, and pain management.

She has one spoiled tuxedo cat named Schubert and a freshwater aquarium at home.  She would love to meet you and your furry family members soon!
